Letters.

"I've been at my new home in Seattle for 2 months now," Taehyung stopped his pen for a moment, then continued, "America is so different from Seoul! I miss the busy streets of Seoul though.

I miss hanging out with you, Jeongguk."

In which Taehyung had to move to America because of family and had to leave his life in Seoul behind, including his best friend Jeongguk. Both boys are heartbroken from the sudden separation, and decide that until Taehyung can buy a new phone, they would write each other letters everyday. Taehyung talks of the streets of Seattle and how different America is from Korea, and how homesick Taehyung felt.

What Taehyung doesn't know, though, is that Jeongguk was planning to send him a special letter on his birthday, something that would be the best birthday present Taehyung could ever hope for.

He would get a piece of his home back.

this particular story idea is inspired a bit by my other namjin story that deleted itself, since part of the book was going to be Jin leaving and going to LA and joon and jin would write letters to each other axskjdjssj you get the point.
