After being rescued by the Allies, he is mistaken for a German spy and imprisoned until he can prove his true identity. In the meantime, his young wife receives a telegram that he had been killed. When he is finally released, he comes back to the States only to discover his wife has remarried, so he decides to head back to Belgium to find his true love. Sandy eventually discovers her father's location and travels to Belgium for a heartwarming, but tenuous homecoming with a man who never knew he even had a daughter since Helen had become pregnant right before he left for Belgium.Complete
