Quirky, awkward, and a failing science student, 23 year old Anika Malhotra forces herself to attend her younger sister's wedding in Rajasthan, India who is about to marry her ex-boyfriend. Facing the ultimate betrayal, Anika finds herself losing out on life both in the professional and personal world. However, what will happen once she encounters the mysterious, toxic, and a much older man in the form of Shivaay Singh Oberoi who also just happens to be her father's boss? Knowing that she may be crossing the line and breaking her values, Anika finds herself intrigued by Shivaay's mystery while Shivaay, a 35 year old, finds himself wanting to be with a woman who let's him live life a little and helps him escape a distressful, broken life.

Having a difference of age of more than a decade, their tastes are quite different and opposite in every single thing possible , however, a woman with a broken heart and a man that has never loved may just be the right combination for a romantic escape...

This story is a redux of my other story "Learning to Love Him Again", but this story can be read as stand alone.
