"Cat, calm down." Tom said reassuringly. "Everything will be alright, all you need to do is calm down." "NO!" Cat yelled. She pointed at the library and cried. "The man that killed my brother is in there. Do you think I'm just gonna stand here, while he carries on with his life?" She turned around and faced Watts, who was keeping his distance from her. "Watts." She pleaded. "You should understand. He killed Ebony!" Watts eyed Cat with resentment. He saw the bright girl she once was, smart and confident. Now, she was just . . . broken. "I'm sorry, Cat." Watts said softly. "Watts, how could you?" Cat asked with a horrified look on her face. "She loved you so much." Watts turned away from her. He couldn't take it anymore. Everything had changed. Cat looked around at everyone, waiting for someone to agree with her. No one did. "Fine." She said, hastily wiping off a tear that ran down her face. "Fine. Either leave, or stay." She took her gun out. Everyone watched as she loaded it. "Cat," Tom made one last ditch attempt for her to change her mind. "You can't do this." Cat turned around. Her eyes were red and tears were streaming down her face. "If you love me, you would join me." She said, her voice cracking. Tom opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. He took a step forward and grabbed Cat's hand. "Cat, please." "No." She said as she shook his hand off hers. "I don't care. There are people who need to be avenged." Everyone heard the sound of a small object drop to the pavement. It sounded like a coin. Smoke flew up from the ground. "Shit, she just dropped one of her smoke bombs on us." Watts said as he tried to find a way out from all the smoke. "Tom, you okay?" The smoke cleared fairly quickly. Watts could now see Tom, staring at his hand with a weird look on his face. "I let her go." He managed to utter. "Watts, we have to do something, she's going to kill him!"All Rights Reserved
