The first casualty of war is innocence. It is a given. An unspoken truth everyone seems to understand. Everyone, except the innocent that is. They only seem to grasp the concept after their hands are tainted, there is blood in the water, and there is no return. Millie doesn't understand what she has to lose. She has remained kind, caring, and pure throughout the zombie apocalypse. So when pure meets Negan there is more than a culture shock. However, there is another unspoken truth. Probably just as old as the other. Opposites attract. OC x Negan Story **I only own my own character and plot I made, everything else belongs to AMC'S The Walking Dead

Part two of The Only One Life moves in mysterious ways. Love does too. Many, many crossroads, each one leading to a different outcome. The great "what if?" "And if there was one thing that I gathered from the post-apocalyptic life, it was that you had to fight for what made you happy. Love, family, a roof over your head. There weren't many things left to boost that serotonin and give you joy. So what else was left to do? Fight for what really matters. Don't let it slip away. It wasn't only survival that was important. What do you survive for if you are miserable?" Lightning meets thunder. Thunder loves lightning. A storm is coming on the horizon, prickling at your skin, rumbling in the very marrow of your bones. This is the second book following The Only One, in which the story continues, with lots of twists and turns, lots of love, lots of heartbreak, and lots of obstacles in between. Warning: Contains mature themes such as sex, violence, and inappropriate language.
