About the author: Diamond Woods is currently going to school for journalism and African American studies. She is an intersectional activist who is passionate about ensuring that marginalized voices being heard. She is from Detroit Michigan and is the proud mother to her furbaby Sassy and turtlebaby, Squirtle.
