Since day one, Jamie made it her top priority to keep coming to the corner coffee shop, Madness. Not only for the coffee, but for the new waiter. But as a bookworm, he barely pays any attention to her. Her nose is always stuck in a book, or writing. With her name at the bottom of the popularity chain, next to no friends, and an conceited mother, Madness is her one and only escape from school and her home. But could Lennie be her escape too? Jamie can tell there is something up with Lennie, his fake smiles and laughs, there is obviously something Lennie is hiding, and she is determined to find out what it is.
Now, enter Lennie Krause, new boy in town. With sharp green eyes, jet black hair that's swept over one eye, and a semi built body, he seems to be the new eye candy at Williamson High. But he doesn't want to be the center of attention, he would rather sit back and read a good book, or go to a library than hang out at parties and get drunk. But no one knows that. Well, except for Jamie, the girl that won't stay away from Madness, his new job. At first, Jamie comes off a little weird, but as Jamie keeps appearing at the coffee shop, he can't help but get to know her. Her quirky personality and witty remarks keep Lennie coming back for more.
Would Lennie give up whatever 'reputation' he has at Williamson High, or will he overcome his barely-there ego to be friends with Jamie?
Could this be Their Coffee Shop Love?
