With a world shrouded in fantasy and mystery, for every blinding light there is a blooming darkness, especially for this unsuspecting party. A thief is captured and taken to a small village far from all kingdoms. In captivity he tells stories of overwhelming evils awakening from years of slumber, and no one believes him except for one girl, however her voice is not good enough to save the town, before ultimately the town is completely destroyed. The thief and the girl's group of friends now follow the voices telling the unlikely pair where to lead them, including the path to (hopefully) stop the blooming darkness.

Bond like any other teen, enjoys playing games. Things take a turn for the worst, however, when a game becomes all too real and terrifying. Now, he and his classmates are working to stay alive and escape their captor. ~ ~ ~ "We put ourselves into this mess. Everything we did leading up to our disappearances gave him the ability to find us. Before and after the game truly began, we determined our own fates. This was the game we chose to play." This story contains mature themes. There is strong language, sexual content, hints at assault, grooming, kidnapping, and death.
