When you loose the two people who made up your entire family, you are plunged into an abyss of pain and hopelessness. These feelings are normal, however, for someone who has experienced what I have experienced. Unfortunately for me, I am not normal. Cliche, I know. The girl who is not normal and seems to be a social outcast that will never fit in suddenly experiences a life changing event or encounter that allows them to be accepted and live the fairy tale life.

This, however, is not a fairy tale. My life does not have Prince Charmings, happy endings, or magical events, creatures, or objects of any sort.
Or so I thought.

I am Avery Holmes and this is my story.

From the death of my parents, Linda and James Holmes, I knew something was about to happen. What it would be, I did not know.
All I knew was that my parents had kept a secret from me, a secret that ended with their death.

A werewolf romance that will hopefully be original and unique

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
