"Who do you think," I felt my words cut through his skin. I watched his face change as everything clicked into place. He knew who she was. He knew what I was talking about. He watched his own slideshow flash before his eyes. Every time she left him feeling the way he made me feel I was there to fix it. He watched me glue him together time after time. He saw my stupid, stupid, smile flash before his eyes. Thousands of different pictures. He had never seen them before. All he had seen was her.

I look up at him, his face nothing but a hazy memory. His head is tilted down towards me and I think about how odd it must be for him too. If we kissed, would we find each other's lips? It's so familiar, so in-tune with me, that I feel like I've always seen it. I can feel his eyes set on me, my figure under his gaze.
