(recomended to read after book 1) At the borders of wind country a strange old looking castle is found on a small island  close by. When Gaara, Anna, Kankuro, Suzu, Calienia, Shikamaru, and Temari all go to check it out, they find out the castle is filled with run away ninja like Calienia. They are break aways of the hidden cloud and though there ways are strange they are quite fond of peace and are all friendly people. They quickly befriend the queen of the castle along with a girl named Janina and a boy named Hayato. There gaurd has been up ever since the fog that hides their castle mysteriously disappears. Calienia feels compelled to help them and convinces Gaara to help as well. What truths will be told about the strange castle? What will become of the breakaway ninja that lives there? Find out in

The 4th Great Shinobi War has ended, and Gaara is starting to wonder how the nations will maintain their fragile peace without a common enemy. He's devised a plan to go on a diplomatic tour of the shinobi world, and try to establish strong bonds with each village, and Mist Village is his first stop. Joining Gaara and his two ever loyal siblings, Temari and Kankuro, will be the Leaf Shinobi, Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Tenten, Hinata, Neji, and surprisingly, Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke isn't really going for the mission though, he's been persuaded to join them by Gaara's new, out of this world teacher, Shine Likstar, and her partner Wally West, and their current hero trainees, Momo, Shoto, Dabi, and now joining them, Bakugo and Camie. Along the way the group runs into Team Taka, and makes some detours, all the while trying not to drive each other insane with their crazy hijinks, culture clashes, and different ways of looking at the world. Not to mention past trauma. But things may heat up when they actually reach Mist Village and find more than they bargained for. [This story is a sort of spin off of the main story line, and picks up where my shorter retelling of the War Arc and Sasuke Retrieval Arc left off. Read that book first if you want to know how these characters know each other, it's on my profile. Otherwise if you just want to jump right in and figure it out, I respect that approach too. This should be a lot of fun. The story is a bit slower paced than the first ones were since it's styled to be more Slice of Life/Action, but they'll be ships, funny situations, and angst and drama in plenty for all of you who like a little spiciness with your friendship stories.
