The constant whispers from the shadows only stayed whispers for short periods of time. Sometimes they would come lurking into her dreams. And sometimes the figures in the shadows almost seemed real. The nightmares that she had didn't stay in her dreams. She would wake up with bruises, blood, and sweat, sticking to her skin. School only made it worse. It was the last thing she wanted for her friends to get hurt by the things in her head. Sometimes the hallucinations even had a physical touch. Not all of them were dangerous, but a lot of them were warning signs. She never took the warnings seriously. That's when the thing became real. The things that lurked in the shadows emerged and showed their faces. It was nothing she had seen before. And it's nothing she wanted to see either. When she thought she could escape, the things in her head we're never closer to her.All Rights Reserved
