There's only one thing Ashlyn Acker has been good at in her life and it's been mental battles, not physical ones. So when the Ghosts, an elite military team of all men, recruit her in desperation, Ash finds herself underqualified for everything they do. Turned into a weapon of Rorke's creation, Logan isn't nearly the soldier Ashlyn was described. He's vicious, ruthless, and determined to convert her into a weapon against the Ghosts at all costs, even if it kills her.
    Caught in the center of a dangerous history and the beginning of a new war, Ashlyn has to trust that what she's learned as a soldier will prevail. If she's to fail, the entire Ghost team depending on her success will perish at the hands of their reawakened enemy, who is set on finishing what they started.
