Aubry wakes up in a flower field, without any memory of her past and next to a guy she doesn't know. Whatever happened in the past is responsible for what happens in her current future. Losing her memory meant also losing her powers, which were the only weapon that could keep the Hunters at bay. Getting her memories and thus her powers back is essential in the war her Clan is fighting. A war they can only win if she manages to find the missing pieces of a puzzle she seemed to have hidden herself. On top of that she has to deal with feelings she doesn't quite understand, feelings that could put everything the Clan has worked for in jeopardy.
