1939 marks the beginning of a tumultous time in light of the outbreak of war in 20th century Europe. A new world order is forming in Germany under Nazi Rule as the Reich grows in the wake of its expansion.

Twenty-three year old Erika Müller has worked at her family bakery in Freiburg for as long as she can remember. As war breaks out, she is thrust into a perilous world unlike anything she has ever known.

Twenty-four year old Wilhelm Bauer is sent away to the front to fight for the Fatherland while he is plagued by nightmares of his past back in Berlin.

The story follows the young couple as they navigate their path in a collapsing world which will question everything they have ever known, with dark secrets, sacrifice and betrayal at every turn.

When our hearts collided

36 parts Complete Mature

It was the biggest adventure of my life, and I was ready to make memories and have fun with my best friend for the summer. It would be a trip of a lifetime. I never expected that our worlds would collide. We came from total opposites tracks of life. Mine a simple and boring world and him one of Germany's most famous Tiktok creators. He was tall and handsome, and every girl wanted him; including me. When our worlds meet, would time be on our side? Would we be able to hold onto that spark that brought us together or will that spark fuse and leave us empty handed with nothing but memories and heartache?
