(WARNING: this is the first real fic i ever wrote, I was in middle school, I know that it's horrible but don't judge it too bad thanks)
When Gerard Way and his little brother Mikey are sent to a New York boarding school, Gerard should've known what hell would break loose the second he met the cocky, arrogant, and undeniably hot Frank Iero.

In his last year of school, he decides to take a risk and starts a school project in which he wants to find out why all of his teachers and classmates hate homosexual people so much. For his project "homophobia is gay" he interviews a few people but decides that this won't be enough. What if he could introduce one of them to his world and show them that it's not bad to be gay? And what if this person was Frank Iero, the guy who has a list of girls he slept with right under his mattress at home, and an abhorrence against the red-headed boy? *Warnings*: bad language, homophobia, smut, abuse

Gerard and Frank are both high school students in New Jersey. Frank has to move around schools a lot, not having a good track record with the other kids most of the time. This time though, he got lucky.

Gerard is new to the school.. he finally got kicked out of his old one, now being forced to go to school with Mikey, not that's it's a bad thing. unlike what people would thing, Gerard and Mikey get along great..it's just other people that bugs Gerard. he sticks out like a sore thumb, hes soft spoken and has pretty feminine features as well as dressing up in pastel clothes (skirts). he gets into fights a lot and he's not afraid to stick up for himself but it gets tiring so he normally lets his bully's do whatever they need. at his new school he meets Frank. he's known to not let people push him the wrong way and he'll call you out on your bullshit. Frank finds Gerard...uh, interesting. it's hard to tell what Gerard is thinking most times and that really bugs Frank. Gerard tends to be in his own and Frank wants to change that...but how can he? Gerard will forever be known as the "cross dresser" and Frank will always be seen as "too good" for Gerard.
