The Children of the Gems
Twelve children were gifted with gems of magic. Twelve children had magic that ran through their blood, and they didn't even know it until it was almost too late. Twelve children were born to twelve different Gods and Goddesses, each having a different power than the one before them. Twelve children were shunned from the world that they grew up in, forgotten except for one who walked amongst them from time to time. Twelve children grew up on their own, with one just turning of age. Twelve children were needed to defeat the evil witch that captured eleven of the twelve Gods and Goddesses that they were sworn to protect. The elder sister Lisabeth Crescent Moon Dirigeantes was mainly known for her control of the moon which was the first thing she had power over after the old moon goddess died and handed the power down to her when she was born. The humans don't know that any god/goddess can hand their powers down to whomever they think is worthy. So, Lisabeth is also the goddess of death, nightmares, and life. Her sister Cinder Starlight Sky Dirigeantes was known as the goddess of stars the previous star goddess waited 10 years after her death before giving her power to Cinder when she was born because for centuries the goddess of moon and stars were sisters, and both made the goddesses of the night. Cinder was only a baby then. Some say that Lisabeth was trying to save her baby sister from the dangers in the immortal realm and that they came to hide down on earth. But one thing was for certain the sisters were underaged and won't use their powers in the mortal realm until they turn 19. One beautiful night on Asgard, Odin was holding a ball at the royal palace for his two sons in hopes of finding them wives. The palace was buzzing with all sorts of royalty mingling with the royal family. There's a beautiful young goddess at the ball with her parents, Aphrodite. the goddess of love and Hermes. the messenger of the gods. The goddess Aphrodite introduces her daughter to Loki, but the young goddess is very shy so, she shies away from him. Loki is drawn to the young goddess. He finds her shyness endearing and wishes to get to know her better. Unbeknownst to Loki, Aphrodite and Hermes are just using their daughter as a pawn to get close to the throne as well as acquiring a piece of Asgardian land. When Loki finds out what her parents are up to, he's even more determined to get her away from her parents so they can't use her anymore. Conflict in soothes between Loki and the young goddess' parents. The young goddess' parents try to come between Loki and young goddess. They even go as far as sending her brother to try and bring her back to Olympus. Much to the dismay of Aphrodite and Hermes the young goddess' brother and Loki become fast friends due to the care that they share for the young goddess. Will Aphrodite and Hermes keep trying to come between Loki and the young goddess? Or will they leave them alone so they can start a life together?
