It's been five years since the snap. Five years since Thanos decimated half the universe. Attempting to get back some sort of normality, Steve and Freya try to live their lives and move on the best they can. That is until a long lost teammate, who was presumed dead, makes them rethink everything. Gathering the broken Avengers, they suddenly have to navigate the uncharted waters of time and space with the new found hope of bringing back everything that was lost. A new hope that drives them to get their family back. Whatever it takes.

After their third, and hopefully final encounter with Thanos, the reunited Avengers are left to pick up the pieces of the last five years and attempt to move on with their lives. Even with the giant hole left behind by the loss of Tony and Vision, they're still met with the joy that Natasha's return brings. With Sam and Bucky temporarily living with Freya and Steve, who are excitedly expecting twins, things seem like they're slowly returning to a new normal. But Freya can't seem to shake an uneasy feeling after her brief, but nearly violent confrontation with Wanda. The feeling isn't only putting her on edge, but it carries a darkness with it as well. Not long after Wanda leaves, something causes Freya to have an episode with her powers. But instead of her powers lashing out, they're forced to contain an out of control Freya in order to protect the others. Once it passes, new revelations begin to tie everything back to Wanda and her unknown activities. Freya worries for the younger woman and hopes she didn't make a mistake by encouraging her to take time for herself. However, that worry and hope quickly dissolves into fear and guilt when an old friend reaches out for help with a situation only Freya might understand. Without hesitation, Freya, Steve, Sam and Bucky rush to aid the contact. Only to come face to face with something so bizarre and terrifying, even Freya has the urge to stay away. It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights.
