22-year-old college dropout Harry Styles doesn't know what he wants in life. He has no direction, and no one to help him find it.
Running around with people, Harry knows to avoid destroys him the same way he dropped out of school jeopardizing a career as a professional artist. He threw away a full-ride scholarship for sex, drugs, and alcohol.
Harry is on his own after his father left him when he was 14-years-old. When he was 11, his view on his father changed for good most devastatingly. Secrets fill his family, but Harry is the only one who doesn't know what happened to cause discord in his once perfect family. Or what he thought was excellent.
Harry's family hid him from a world he knows nothing about, but he knows something fishy is going on behind closed doors. Because of the disfunction and feeling mistreated, ostracized, and mistrusted, he turned to alcohol and drugs to suppress any real feelings he has. He's an addict but hates admitting it. His mother, Noel, couldn't stand his behaviour and sent him from London, England to Austin, Texas to be with his dad, Derek, to see a therapist and give him a chance to find his purpose.
Of course, he rebels out of hatred and fear of facing his truths, but he's not alone. He is put in group therapy with a bunch of young adults like him. Despite the constant arguments they have, they are all they've got, and Harry knows it.
He has never tried to live for anything until he met the girl with a strange name, and her name is Blue Reign.
