Yeah, uh. It's me, Athena. I used to go by Beth. I wrote the original back in middle school (who decided it was a GREAT idea), so I hate it now, as I'm nearly graduating high school. Here's the official bio;

You just moved to a new house that's few blocks away from Harper's house and you meet them but one of them caught your eye so you starting to get feelings with him but your an overthinking person after your last relationship was horrible but would he be a good person for you. You also have really good connections with your mom and your siblings but you didn't have a good connection with your dad since he used to treat your mom pretty bad ever since he got a new job, he barely came home and never made time for you at all. Then left you after what you saw him do but you chose to forget it and never see him again. I have fix some stuff on some of the chapters that I didn't like. So that way you can understand the story more better since my writing has improved a bit.Complete

I was slowly losing consciousness, but my mind never seemed happier now that I was dying. The white walls with big bright lights did not resemble heaven; in fact, it was quite the opposite. I thought I had died. When I came to, I found myself in this strange place, disoriented and confused. I looked around and found another five pairs of eyes looking at me with the same emotion swirling in their gaze. Now, 15 years later, I train with these girls. Our makers take care of us, feed us, and make sure we are clean, healthy, and fit. Some of us never had that; that's probably why it took so long for us to realize we were being used. The dirty work they made us do, none of us questioned it. How could we when we were taken off the streets? For a chance at normalcy, we settled for anything, even if that meant blurring the lines of right and wrong. After a mission gone haywire, we started noticing, and now we strike back to take our voices and reclaim the power that was used on us as a way to control us. I am Mariah Langsten, I go by May or Mariah. My friends, or the ones left would call me Mariah Carrie because how I could sing. I never heard it like they did. I am with two other survivors, My best friend Beth Greene, once the shit hit the fan I had no chance to find her. But once I finally got to their house. They were all gone, the barn was burnt to nothing, few walkers lurking and something that looked like their house. She told me a hoard got them and she told me about her group and what happened. It nearly killed me when she told me what happened to Hershel. He was like my second dad when we were kids. We cried for a while in each other arms. Then the other survivor was a guy I found on my way to Hershel's, which was over a 4 or 5 months ago. I lost count, besides his name is Andrew Winder. Him and Beth became a thing, but we decided not to tell her we've had sex more than a couple times. It was for comforting purposes, but we both knew deep down. It was defiantly for the hell of it, we haven't had any one sexually for a long time. I was 23, blonde hair and brown eyes, Beth was 21, blonde with blue eyes. She was so damn pretty. Andy (As I called him) was 25, brown hair and blue eyes. I had zero training before all this started, all I did was play video games, eat food and cuss at online players when they pissed me off. 'The night was alive with silence. I moved through it like a shadow, black leather gloves tight on my hands, boots soft against the grass. My gas mask hid my face, leaving only darkness where my eyes should be. The world narrowed to a single point: the house ahead. Tonight, it would belong to me. The farmhouse rose stark and white beneath the moonlight, silent except for the occasional grunt of a pig or the low hum of a cow. They were unaware. They were insignificant. I crouched behind the hedge, eyes scanning, senses alert. Every detail mattered: the flicker of light across the curtains, the faint rustle of movement inside, the way a shadow shifted across the floor. She was there. Oblivious. Popcorn in hand, murmuring to herself as the television flickered. Every motion was a note in tonight's symphony, and I was the conductor. I studied her, cataloging. Timing. Patterns. Fear. She didn't notice me yet, and that was perfect. Patience was everything. One sound, one misstep, and it could all unravel. I rang the doorbell once. Silence. Again. Still nothing. She flinched slightly, just enough to make my pulse quicken. Her small reaction was delicious. A sudden movement in the yard caught my eye-a neighbor's dog barking at some unseen intruder.
