Released: Please don't leave me here again

This is derived from an earlier short story 'Rising Damp', written as a tribute to my siblings, a reflection of guilt I felt for not spending enough time in their company as a child. I'd been burdened with more responsibility than a child should be and as consequence sought my escape where and whenever possible.

The story primarily focuses on the eldest of my siblings Colin, it interweaves a father and daughter with his past and their present. The two timelines are linked by the spirit of the father's deceased sibling Colin, his daughters 'Invisible Fried' who enables him to release them both from purgatory.
