There is a legend that says that we are connected to our soul mates by a red cord which doesn't matter how much we change or how hard we try it will never break and will keep us bonded to that person who will understand every aspect of you without any doubt. This connection is not just emotional is a mental connection that bonds mind and soul in a whole different spectrum that just you both will understand.

The Chinese folklore is about a magical connection between two people that are destined to be soulmates, called 'the red string of fate'.
