Bittersweet
|| COMPLETED || I want to be ready for college, but I'll be leaving everything behind. I don't want to forget my mom, my friends, or the memories made. Then again, I want to move on, run away from the heart break following me. I want to be free, I need to be free. For everything that I know, college could be a restart for highschool. A time where I don't make mistakes or where bad things don't happen, but I know they will. Though focusing on the negative won't lead me anywhere. Sadly though, that's all I ever learned to focus on. Learning things about my family that disgust me, learning about family members I didn't even know existed. It's all new, like morphing into a new body, you have to learn how to control. Sadly I don't know how to control myself, I can't control my emotions. I want to be ready for college, I am. This is the second book in the Hitman series, it can be read as a standalone but you'll understand characters a bit better if you read 'Falling for a Hitman' first. Get hooked on the fast paced, heart racing action, and fall for the romance. The second I heard her say my name I knew I was in too deep. I knew I'd do everything in my power to protect her. When her ex came to town I made sure to do just that. When she finished her shower that first night in my home, I fell for her. Never in a million years did I think love at first sight existed but dammit was I wrong. I have nightmares, I ran far to get away from my ex. I never thought he would find me after I changed my name and moved 1500 miles away from my hometown. When he whispered in my ear I thought I was going to die right there in the middle of the dance floor. Luckily I had big strong tattooed arms to fall into, and I never wanted to leave that embrace. Trapped in my Worst Novel
Protagonists, the most important characters in stories. They're the ones that are supposed to save the world and be a symbol of hope for humanity, the ones that can defeat anything in their way if they want to, the ones whom the reader wants to win and succeed... ...Well atleast thats how a good heroic protagonist should be. I wrote three novels after dropping out of college at 20 years old. My first novel was a disaster, boring characters, recycled plot, and a protagonist so rude even I wanted to punch them. The next two? Absolutely amazing and really well-liked. I was ready to quit writing for good when i suddenly got hit by a car and woke up in someone else's body, someone i don't recognize at all, who goes to the exact same school from my first novel. Yeah. That happened, i'm screwed. Great. Now I'm stuck in a world full of arrogant, clueless students. Why couldn't i have entered one of my better stories?! And if that's not enough, the soul of this body won't stop yelling at me to "give their body back", as if i could do that, while a tiny version of them sits on my left shoulder and a tiny version of my 19 year old self from my past life rides the right shoulder. What even is happening anymore? Sigh...
