Percy Jackson thought that this war would be like the last one. You know, go on a quest, meet new friends, fight monsters, giants, and Titans, win, and go back to camp and maybe propose to his wonderful girlfriend. But that all changed, especially when the fates decided to throw him a curveball and possibly change him for the rest of his life.
And although the fates have possibly destroyed him for good, there are good times coming. It's just like in a story there's a beginning, middle, and ending. The fates have decided his beginning, but what he chooses to do now will complete the story.
