In a world where kings and queens are forced to marry one young woman chooses to marry another.
Queen Reina of France is forced to marry the English Kings son, Henry. At first she feels an attraction to him and she agrees with the marriage. However when she meets the Kings bastard son Phillip she feels she needs to know him better. When she gets to know him she realises she's made a mistake.
Reina tries to change the Kings mind but she can't and the worst part is that she will have to marry Henry to save his country. Phillip on the other hand won't stop fighting for Reina which causes his brother to step in....
