Carl, an angel, has always wondered what's it like to be a human. His curiosity is satiated but his expectations are unmet. He realizes that the human world... sucks. He wants to return to the Heavens but he would need help from a human. He turns to Flor, a human whom he knew from childhood. Would he be able to return his thanks to her, or would it be the other way around?

He saw her as she was attacked by several boys. Boys that smelled wrong, smelled tainted. He didn't think about anything as he killed them. He brought her home and took care of her. Little did he know that his actions put him in the crosshairs of the most powerful demon. He didn't care. It also put him into the crosshairs of the angels.
