Jace Evans never noticed Lena Lockhart until he saved her from falling flat on her ass one day in the hall. He never thought he would have so many thing in common with the weird girl who likes to stay in the shadows. Now, she's all that he thinks about. Lena Lockhart never was the type of girl to be outgoing and bubbly. She'd rather bury her face in a book on Friday nights than to go out and get wasted. She's never had a boyfriend, her first kiss or a crush on someone until Jace came into her world and showed a different side of him which doesn't include the popularity and huge ego she normally sees from him at school.

Lena's confused as to why a person like Jace would ever take an interest in her. She doesn't know what to do and sometimes she wishes she had some sort of handbook that tells you about high school relationships.
