16-year-old Carrie Evans is haunted from the memories of her past she's been trying to forget ever since she moved states. But can she run from them forever when a new boy comes to town and reminds her that even in the bad, there's still good things for her to hold onto?
***
Carrie doesn't need to love and with her previous dating experience ending in heartbreak, she's decided it's best to swear off boys for the rest of high school if only to save the broken pieces of her heart. Along with avoiding drama and fights among her friends, she's balancing precariously on the safe side to avoid making the same mistakes she's made before.

When a new boy starts at school, she can't help but be reminded of her past: the bad and the good as she realises that, maybe her broken heart can find love again.

But with a new popularity streak comes fake friends and followers, people who are eager to start a fight and once the drama starts?

There's no going back.

"You really changed" David commented as he sat next to me. I shook my head and smiled. "Not really" I told him and then someone jumped on the couch next to me making me yelp in surprise. "She was always like this" Hannah told them and kissed my cheek. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her. I leant my head on her shoulder and my eyes met those black pitch one. Aiden was staring at me again and I stared back at him. "Why showing the real you Now?" Aiden asked and I blinked several times. "I decided not to let the past ruin my future anymore" I simply said and stood up when I saw the other guys coming downstairs. I noticed Aiden looking at me in confusion but no way I was going to explain those things any further. "Let's go to the beach!" I exclaimed and took the keys of one the cars that my parents rented for us and walked out of the house with Adam following me. What happens when two worlds collide? The Bad Boy and The Nerd? Dive into the journey of Karma and Aiden as they stumble into each other's world.
