Lyla Bateman was in love with Troy Watts, they were the couple that everyone talked about wanting to be like. They've been together for 4 years, since freshman year. She thought they were forever and they would last.
She even found out she got pregnant with his child and that made her even more certain they were gonna stay together, until things changed. The day she was gonna share the news with Troy about being 4 weeks pregnant she caught him cheating with their English teacher. She still decided to tell him the news and gave them an ear full before she left.
Lyla thought she could never be happy again after being with the same boy for 4 years of her life. That is until she remembered she had to take her sister to a concert and locked eyes with Daniel Seavey while he performed. Her sister and her also had Limelight so that would mean she was also going to meet the boy she made eye contact with.
