The Marauders 6th year seemed promising right from the start. Things went on smoothly until they suddenly didn't. This abrupt change in the workings of Hogwarts seems to throw the boys off balance, leaving them surrounded by uneasiness and a constant taste for adventure. 
What happens when someone new appears? Can only one person affect their lives so much? Well it sure seems that the great Sirius Black will have some problems in dealing with the newcomer.
This is a story of rebellion and courage; of finding what really matters and tossing away one's pride in exchange for something new and exciting. A story of liberation and trying to find happiness and light in the darkest of places.

I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era. The story takes place in the year 1976, the boys are all in their sixth year, and tensions are high at Hogwarts. Many of the students are already feeling the influence of the Voldemort, and it is causing suspicion and division to run rampant within the walls of the school. Of course James is still battling for Lilly's attention, hoping to prove how much he's matured over the summer months.
