Voldemort had an evil purpose the summer of 1980. A prophecy had told him that a baby born in the month of July, to parents who had trice defied him, who be the maker of his demise. He was determined to destroy any chance of this "chosen child" ending his decade long reign of power. But he was wrong to think he could stop it. So when a mere baby destroyed the most powerful dark wizard alive, the Wizarding World knew in a heartbeat.

But something else strange happened that night.

Voldemort had entered two homes that night, and a young child, Scarlet Rowling, did not die from the killing curse. She lived. Her mother had cast a spell unknowingly that night, a spell more powerful than death itself. It was an old kind of magic, something even Voldemort could not see. In the end, it would be his downfall. And so the Dark Lord disappeared from the world, and the Wizarding World learned of Voldemort's demise at the hands of the baby named Harry Potter. His name was spread far and wide. But no one knew about Scarlet Rowling.

No one knew about the little girl with the crescent scar.
