Veronica is 10 years old in the fourth grade and enjoys playing soccer with her friend Lily in gym class. Her interest in the sport grows quickly and dreams of playing for a soccer team, and one day during gym class, Lily asks, "Do you want to be on my team". Little does Veronica 10-year-old Veronica know, she's getting pulled into an amazing but complicated new life.
