My names Levi and I am one of the FBI Policemen who survived the attack in New York. It's been 6 months after the breakout, the United States Government sent the Marines to the borders. Worrying if anyone had carried the virus out of the States, they surrounded the borders letting no one in or out. There are still survivors within the borders, fighting for their lives from those walking deads. Many had died from starvation and there were also very little food and shelter. There were rumors across the United States that the US Government's been using humans as experiments for a lab test, it turned out that the test was not a success. A few soldiers were sent into the test chamber to check on the experiments, but it seems as if none were alive. After just a few minutes all six of the lab tests had awaken surprising the soldiers and attacking them. Fearing that one might escape from the chamber, the doctors shut the chamber doors leaving all four soldiers dying...

It had been six years since the first case of Naegleria Fowleri was reported in a hospital in Bishop Parish, Louisiana. The second case was reported in Arkansas one month later. By the end of that year, the sickness had completely consumed the entirety of the United States, Mexico, and South America, and had swept over half of Canada. It had been five years since the sickness had mutated and the first corpse had risen. And in the five years since...life on earth had been changed forever. Five years wasn't an incredibly long stretch of time, but it was long enough for nearly an entire hemisphere to be thrown into utter chaos and then complete collapse. Five years was long enough for millions of people to be lost and anything resembling normalcy to be blown on the wind. There was no hope of normal, of safe or secure, when the world had fallen apart and the dead walked the earth... It had been one month since she had been tested for the gene, one month since she had left her family and had been taken to The Sanctuary where the other carriers were kept. The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead.
