Will Gray be able to find Carmen with the clue from Player? And if he does, will he and Carmen be able to stay strong as both a team and a couple?

While grappling with the knowledge that she killed her best friend, Carmen tries her best to settle into her new life with her mother in Buenos Aires, but she can't live peacefully as long as VILE is still a threat. When certain members escape from prison, Carmen knows what she must do: Resume the fight. But not a day passes that she doesn't think of Gray, which is seriously hindering her health, and unfortunately, her ability to fight. More than anything, she wishes her best friend were alive, but there's no way he could have survived the blast from the crackle rod. Right..? •• ϟ •• A few things first. ~ Carmen is 15 or 16 when she enrolls at V.I.L.E. This can be determined because the show opens on Carmen approximately twenty years after she was taken from Argentina. If you take the one to two years she's been causing trouble for V.I.L.E. and the two years she was enrolled and subtract that, then you can see that Carmen is more or less 16 when she meets Gray. Next, the minimum requirement to be a junior electrician is having a G.E.D. and being at least eighteen. So Gray's estimated age when he enrolls can be 18 or 19 at minimum. With this in mind, Gray is at the very least two years older than Carmen. So, no icky-nastiness involved. ~ Carmen is a bisexual woman. Those that don't recognize Carulia as a valid ship are simply blind. Still, I prefer Redcrackle, so that's the primary romance. ~ I try to keep the characters consistent with their television portrayal and maintain the original plot. ~ There's only one inconsistency I'm aware of, kudos if you find it! Carmen Sandiego isn't afraid of sacrificing herself for her family and for the world that she loves so dearly. So when VILE is planning something that harms one of the two, she takes an unimaginable risk and puts her life on the line-which just so happens to be held by VILE itself. Carmen is thrown into a world of pain, fear, and is plagued by uncertainty. Who is she, really? Who will she become in this trial, and will VILE be the one to change her-for better or for worse? One thing's for sure: Carmen Sandiego won't go down without a fight. Takes place after season two, nothing that happens in season three will gave any affect or influence in this fan fiction. Show: Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? I DO NOT own any of the content in this fan fiction except for The Detonator and the storyline. Cover is a shot from the theme song on Netflix. I own the story line, dialogue, and plot. Do not steal, repost, or plagiarize my work. But remember, it's still FAN FREAKING FICTION. Happy reading! Warning: This book contains levels of blood and sensitive topics (suicidal acts/thoughts, depression, torture, death) that may be uncomfortable for some audiences. Please read at your own risk, and feel free to skip certain parts if needed. This book is not rated as mature, but has mild themes, and these things should be taken of note for any little kids. *10ish and under* Highest ranking in Carmen Sandiego- number one Highest ranking in fightscenes- number four Started: Early February 2020 Ended: April 20th 2020 Word count: 25,000-30,000 Will soon be heavily edited and rewritten Also found on AO3
