1 part Complete
Set in the era of the Civil War, Ann has always struggled with her position in life. Seen as a useless girl to her family, Ann tries to see better of herself but feels herself falling to her family's views. She feels like she can't do anything, especially when her older brother, Martin, is conscripted to the war effort, where Ann is sure he will die. In a whirlwind decision, she decides to disguise herself as a male soldier, impersonating Martin and going off to war. Florence is an African-American girl with a fire in her heart. She's gutsy, with enough bravado to put the mightiest warriors to shame. A long-time friend of Ann's, Florence knows how it feels to be looked down on. But she can feel her warrior's heart inside her, urging her to fight in the Civil War, to fight for the freedom of her people. Unleashed anger and frustration burn in her bloodstream, begging to be set free. But how can she fight, when she's just a girl? Hugh is a seemingly selfish, self-conceded Southern boy who has been conscripted to fight the North. As the war rages on, he struggles to choose a side, indecision tearing at him. He knows that while one choice might be morally right, he knows that choosing that side could rip him from the beliefs his family has instilled in him since the day he was born. In a brutal twist of fate, all three of their lives collide, when Hugh, Florence, and Ann meet each other on the bloody battlefield of Gettysburg. But will they put aside their prejudices for survival? Or will they let themselves be torn apart by the worries and doubt that cloud all their minds?

Who would've thought Jamaica's (Kingston) best or famous music entertainer would have to farm if he wanted to eat a meal. Oh, Stephen had no idea about modern people who preferred the rural (country) living. However, Kitty was living her best simple life and loving the mediocre country girl tasks like; going to the river on laundry day or collecting woods for the fire to cook. Her main task or duty was to care for her only living grandparent, Mama Louise. She happens to become sick to the point of being bedridden and only one visitor of the hundreds stood out. Stephen was one of the many kids Mama Louise looked after or raised. He believed being with her at her last was something better than partying daily, seeing as it was his job so it took a vacation. An it was Westmoreland of all places, close to the Saint James border. Kitty was irritated by the fact that a man was living with them as it has always being just her and mama. Doing all she can for him as a guest, she realised how awful he was and sought to teach him a greater lesson than mama Louise did perviously. It was the beginning of their feud, pranks, argument and better yet, flourishing romance that they work hard not to show. But a bedridden Mama Louise player her Cupid cards right and saw or heard everything from her bed. "Finally, kitty is using her kitty." She grinned, knowing how her virgin granddaughter was like a fly she can't get rid of and Stephen was the best fly trap for the job.

Avaline Baker is a young woman on a camping trip with friends when she decides to go into a museum that will change her life forever. Somehow transported into the future, Ava finds herself at the barrel tip of Nazi German soldier. Transported to their camp as prisoner, Ava is lost and confused as to what, where, and who she is with...the how part is the most antagonizing. Shortly after being saved by two American men, Ava discovers she's been placed at the center of World War Two. Surrounded by warfare and American men who have strict mindsets about women in the the 1940's, the 21-year-old feels like she has no hope of surviving. To even have a chance, Ava has to prove that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she isn't capable of fighting to survive like the rest of them. Ava finds herself stuck in 1944, with "strange" technology called a cell phone, no way of charging it, and no way of getting home. In the midst of a gruesome and horrifying war, she finds herself questioning more than just sanity of the time period, but even her own. Hopefully, with careful and calculating steps, Ava will survive the blistering cold winters, the first-hand experience of a war, and developing a difficult bond with the men of 1st Platoon. --•--•--•-- This is a work of fan-fiction, which means I don't own practically anything. Except for Aveline Baker and some scenes. Will be based off of/follow the campaign. This work has content pertaining to difficult aspects of WW2 including blood and gore; swearing/harsh language; sexual/crude comments and actions; German POW camps; etc. Please DO NOT READ if you aren't comfortable or have too strong opinions on things related to WW2. It's a fictional story and, thus, should be treated like it. On flip side, there will humor. Especially from Zussman- we all like him. And don't forget moments from hardass Pierson...those will get interesting too. ;) ~Started on September 1st, 2018~ ~Finished September 1st, 2019~
