This book will undergo HEAVY revisions, containing a majority of the same plot devices but with better flow. Please look forward to it, and if you made it far enough, enjoy the second (and up to date) book in the meantime :)
Koemi, a Mage-in-training, is forced into a party with the useless swordswoman Seiko and the high-leveled tank Blair in her attempt to earn money gone wrong.
Upon accepting a strange request to guard the annoying- and practically useless- teen swordswoman, Seiko, beginner mage Koemi is forced into a party with the amateur to help the girl level up and be on her way. However, experienced tank Blair accompanies the two, and with Seiko's request, a makeshift team created for the mere purpose of earning money is now an official party!
Through an assortment of odd quests and unrivaled journeys, the party's adventure is set to be quite the unusual one. But as with any circumstance, however, their world and lives are not as perfect as they deem them to be.
(This series, while shown to be RPG-like, is not an isekai, nor entirely adventure-based. It is a series following a legitimate plot, which will pick up further down the line.)
Undead horrors, powerful creatures and people with freakish abilities.
When children are kidnapped from a young woman's community, her telekinetic powers make her the ideal candidate to bring them home. Having never ventured from home on her own before, she'll need help. Some pirates, a former enemy and the last person she ever expected, will lend their skills to bring the children home.
In this world, much of the wilderness is still untouched. It holds bizarre and sometimes dangerous secrets. Some groups have managed to create small communities like towns and camps with running water. Meanwhile, those with the resources and connections have built massive modern cities with towering buildings.
Our characters will have to navigate that world. To some of them, it's just home and to others, it's completely alien.
Sequel on hold until further notice.
