Alexia Nightshade grew up in a world where shapeshifters weren't myths or fables. In her world shapeshifters are called shifters and anyone can shift into the animal their parents can shift into unless they have two different animal shifters for parents then they will take after only one of their parents. For wolf shifters all the males can shift into wolves but females are unable to shift unless they have alpha blood in their veins. Female wolf shifters are the rarest out their since alphas normally only have males. Alexia happens to be the daughter of one of the most fearsome alphas out their and the last female wolf shifter in existences. Only her pack knows that she is a female shifter because many alphas would come to try and force her to marry either them or their heirs because female wolf shifters are the strongest females that a pack can have. What happens when her mate comes for an alliance meeting?
Drake Lightblade just became alpha and knew the only way to insure his pack's survival needed an alliance with the strongest alpha alive. So he goes to their pack to make an alliance with the alpha only while there he meets Alexia and instantly knows she's his mate. There is one issue she keeps running away from him for some reason.
