Laura being the antisocial introvert that she is stays as far away from interaction as possible. Her only friend is her twin brother Andy who is also her confidant and probably the only reason she hasn't dropped out of the one place in which interaction just seems to be inevitable. Now that Andy has to go to a different school from her, she is even more unwilling to go through school, more so high school.

She is completely unwilling to change her attitude but when she gets there, she is tested by every situation. A nagging blonde boy, her brother's overly friendly friend, the geek that sits next to her in class, the girls on the soccer team and the school bully all who she somehow ends up having to deal with no matter how hard she tries to avoid it.

Will she finally come out of her shell, make friends and perhaps just perhaps even find love?
