Two pilots of a single Russian fighter jet get into a short but intense air engagement with a trio of Japanese fighter planes
This story is a concept for a war story Im writing called "operation downfall" where a joint military operation takes place in order to stop the militaristic ambitions of the Japanese Yakuza who have surfaced as a rouge militia that wants to restore the dream of the Japanese Empire.
The story itself is highly technical, meaning its hard for non-aviation fans to understand, as well as harbors some anti-anime sentiments which I wont even deny are there, its also a little too similar to the movies I based this story of (IE top gun and The Final countdown) but if none of that gets to you you might just enjoy it
A more refined and realistic version of this story will be part of Operation downfall when it comes out

The year is 2045. In order to train the next generation of air force pilots, countries around the world have turned air combat into a school sport, officially naming it "Fire Flight". Simply put, a fire flight is a simulated air combat scenario, be it air-to-air or air-to-surface, using dummy munitions to score hits on air/surface targets. It's been 2 decades since the sport was created and some of the best pilots in the world were molded from fire flight. The best pilots usually came from the best schools which had a lot of money to provide the best equipment possible. However, the same cannot be said about the lesser fortunate schools. All schools, rich or poor, have to pay for all the equipment (aircraft, dummy munitions, etc.) themselves. Meaning the rich schools usually were able to afford the best tech while middle and low class schools had to settle for hand-me-downs or worse. Kevin McNamara is an autistic senior in the backwater high school of Monarca High, Monarca, California. He will join the "Monarca Kestrels" fire flight squadron and fill the spot of Kristopher Kestrel, who tragically died in an aircraft collision earlier in the year. He will have to get antiquated with his teammates who are still recovering from Kristopher's death. The king of the Visea kingdom was not a nice man. He had 4 sons. 3 were skilled warriors. However, the eldest, William, was looked down upon. While he was proficient as a sword, he served as a strategist for the Kingdom's armies. While the people loved him most of his family despised him. Therefore his father disowned him and exiled him to a distant village. Separated from the Kingdom as a separate country William saw this as an opportunity to build this village into a great empire. And on his journey he will bring concepts and ideas from his own world together. He will meet many people on this journey of revenge. And who knows maybe he will find love along the way? Disbite the Alliance were strong and powerful with their Titans, they stand no chance and as the result of it they have to evacuate Earth and made Mars as the Alliance's main base as they rebuild their forces. Due to many pilots were lost during Britannians first strike, they have to recruit young man and women who have lost their parents by Britannian and train them to be the next generations of pilots. One od these Pilots is named Y/n L/n who lost his parents, friends and his home became of Britannian and he seeks revenge on them and trained his whole life to take down Britannian and their empire once for all. Years later he will get his chance when they return to Earth in hopes to battle Britannian once again and make a base within the planet so they can have a fighting chance however Y/n must face challenges while returning to planet Earth but with his Titan partner, his team and his friends, he'll overcome anything he can and will retake Earth and make Britannian pay.
