Earnest always feels like he's ignored by others except for his friend Sarah, and he holds a deep secret that no one knows about. After realizing that he needs to tell someone, he writes everything on a sticky note, pasting it in Sarah's locker. While passing a note to Sarah in class, a classmate takes the note out of Earnest's hand. The student takes the note too literally, which causes confusion throughout the whole school. Everyone avoids Earnest, who is left alone by himself. Until a new guy comes to school.

(Strong language. Recommended for ages 13 and up.)

"No one can hold the moon, Sharma." "They can, they just have to stop assuming it'll break." *** Amit was a storm-reckless, magnetic, impossible to ignore. He filled every space, every silence, every empty part of Dev's life without even trying. And then, one day, he was just... gone. No warnings. No explanations. Just a hole where he used to be, and Dev, left standing in the wreckage. A new school was supposed to be a fresh start. Instead, Dev finds himself shackled to the past-haunted by memories he can't escape, whispers that refuse to die, and the one question that won't stop circling back to him. Why did Amit leave? Then there's Raj. Smug, annoyingly confident, allergic to minding his business and somehow always sitting way too close. He's all teasing grins and casual charm, like the universe sent him just to mess with Dev's already crumbling sanity. Dev isn't looking for new people. He's not ready to let anyone in. But Raj doesn't ask for permission. And the more Dev tries to stay invisible, the more Raj sees right through him. And Dev doesn't know what's worse: that Raj is getting too close. Or that part of him wants to let him.
