I came outside my car and started shouting on the person of the other car but whispered the last part seeing him. "Why did you stopped suddenly please continue I want to hear what more you have to say?" that handsome man said while shoving both of his hands in his pant pocket and leaned a little to make eye contact with me. "You bumped your car into me and see this big scratch on my car but don't worry I will not say anything to you just apologise to me" I said with a smirk as he was the one who was at fault so he should apologise. Why will I apologise to you when you are the one who drove wrong way but I am very generous so I forgave you now please move your car from my way as I am getting late for my office" that handsome man told me but me being me I didn't move a bit from my place. "Oh my god, is it really you Luciana?" I wasn't sure if that was meant towards me, since there's probably a thousand Luciana's around the world, so- I did what any reasonable person would do, and kept window shopping while minding my business. Well- I tried too, but then I saw an awfully familiar figure beside me, though it didn't really click as I turned to her. "Hazel Ford?" There was no way that my high school friend, was standing in front of me right now. "In the flesh." She smiled at me. I take back what I said, this was really Hazel. When I moved to New York with my parents, me and Hazel became friends in high school, and we kept on being friends until I moved back to Brazil, then I guess we both had things to think of and lost contact. -A Castle Fan-fiction (written before the season 6 opening episode, after season 5 finally) My life was good. It wasn't perfect. Hell, it started out pretty miserable. But now my life was perfect. It was until my mother was killed anyway. Now I'm stuck here with a writer and a cop trying to track down the maniacs that are trying to kill me. And considering nothing is what it seems around here and I apparently didn't even know my own name, everything is getting too complicated. Now I can't tell for sure if I'm going to survive this. I don't know if Beckett or Castle will survive this. What am I going to do? What am I supposed to do? I'm a fifteen year old orphan with no family to take me in and no one to explain why my mother was murdered or why we were on the run my whole life. Ugh. And you thought your teenage years were tough. Disclaimer: I don't own Lanie, Gates, Beckett, Castle, Javi, Ryan, Alexis or Martha. I don't own most of their back stories either. I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. He decided to treat her well atleast until her delivery. He saw around the ward and noticed other pregnant women with their husbands, he felt a pang in his heart realizing how he treated his wife. He entered the room and saw his unconscious wife, she looked pale and weak that's when he noticed she's become skinny after getting pregnant. Her jaw and collar bones are clearly visible to him but once, she was a cute and chubby little girl....but not anymore.
