What one thought was lost was now found.

The Mechanic, or Mel, theorized that she was the only Time Lord left.

The Doctor was hopeful, and so was she.

Maybe it was fate, maybe it was destiny.

The Way She Fixes is a Doctor Who fanfiction written following the 10th Doctor and the Mechanic as they reunite and go on adventures, just like they hoped.

Tons of research was done to make this story, and all facts about Gallifrey, Time Lords, the Doctor's past and TARDISes are true in the eyes of the producers at BBC. Doctor Who does not belong to me, only my character, Mel.

As each Doctor views the transmission differently according to his vastly varying personalities, the thirteen men and their companions set course to the massive vessel. But is it truly someone in need, or the most elaborate trap the Doctor had ever encountered? Join the Doctors, his most popular companions, and two surprise guests as they unravel the mystery of the Menagerie! This was fun to write, as I have been a fan of Doctor Who since I was nine years old during the Tom Baker era. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!

This is her story, from start to bitter end. (I've pretty much completely abandoned this wip because I stopped watching Doctor Who, might update someday but very unlikely. Sorry to anyone who actually enjoyed it for whatever reason lol)
