The Mechanic, or Mel, theorized that she was the only Time Lord left.

The Doctor was hopeful, and so was she.

Maybe it was fate, maybe it was destiny.

The Way She Fixes is a Doctor Who fanfiction written following the 10th Doctor and the Mechanic as they reunite and go on adventures, just like they hoped.

Tons of research was done to make this story, and all facts about Gallifrey, Time Lords, the Doctor's past and TARDISes are true in the eyes of the producers at BBC. Doctor Who does not belong to me, only my character, Mel.

I have met foes I have never thought I would see again, and I have been forced to face the consequences of my past, along with avenging it. This is my story, and this is how it ends.
