This was something I wrote a long time ago and I recently discovered it again and thought it might be fun just to post it because it's kind of a cute story. Basically, there are these two dogs that go on secret missions when their owner is away and one is sort of the mentor to the other. It's based on a game I used to play with a friend in which all the characters are based on real people and kind of what we would pretend to do in the game (ie. pretend to go to space).
This book is definitely meant for younger audiences but can be read by anyone who chooses to.

"YOU ARE MINE" Blake said. He had his arm around my neck preventing me from escaping. "Get off me you psycho!" I shouted while struggling to get free. "Blake think about what your doing!" Danny said while slowly coming closer. "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER MUTT!" Blake ordered. " You are my mate and no one else have you! MINE!" his wolf said. With that, his eyes turned black and his canines elongates. "Only mine..." he whispers and brought his fangs down upon my neck. "NOOOO!" was the last thing I heard before everything went dark. The day where Scarlet's dream comes true turns to her worst nightmare. Blake Bennett her alpha and mate rejected and humiliated her in front of her pack. Her heart felt like it was being gutted out trampled on. Unable to cope with the rejection, Scarlet fled and plans on suicide until she was found by Danny Walker. 3 years have passed, they both are a couple having a relatively normal life. They live in an apartment with the humans. Scarlet is a writer, she publishes her own books while Danny is an accountant. Everything is happy and dandy until one day she got a letter from her family asking her to visit them. Scarlet misses her family like crazy and wants to meet them but will she be able to go back to the place where all her memories of the rejection and humiliation has taken place? May finds out a mysterious part of her life that her parents haven't been telling her. She's adopted, but that's not the only thing. She didn't know what monster she would become. So for her adoptive parents safety they decide to send her to away to a camp that they've been talking about for years. So then she arrived at a portal in the woods greeted by a guard. The guard sends her through the portal and when she arrived to the other she had seen something unbelievable, people just like her. They had wings, tails, and even claws. Once she got to her cabin, there was a girl with wings, who new May and this other girl would become good friends after that.Complete

It is evident that a war has started but, they can not listen to what so-called leaders of the world have told them. they find out they have to survive on their own, where it seems like it's every man for themselves.
