On the 23d of May 10-year old Hunter Leaf's mother left without a word nor explanation, and his father told him he hated him. One year later they moved to Australia. The first person he saw was beautiful, flawless, carefree Moon Taylor. As soon as he saw her he hated her, and yet, for some reason, she never left him alone for the next 5 years. No matter how many times he told her he hated her didn't seem to matter. He hated her with a passion. He would never help her in any way. Until there is a horrible accident and the only person who will be able to get Moon through it is Hunter.
Everyone has their flaws, their scars, their secrets in this world of hate and love, war and hope, and lies and truth.
