TJ2109 has lived in the walled, remote city of Dema since he was born. Though the city's laws are strict, his relationship with the city's rulers, The Nine Bishops of Bourbaki's City (or The Niners for short), has given him a bit more freedom than your average Dema citizen. Not much, but a bit. But it wasn't enough. Sure, he thought he was happy going through the daily motions in Dema but he'd always had this want to know what lay beyond the city's walls. He was never sure why though... he was happy in Dema. Why would he want to know anything beyond himself, the Bishops and the Demarians? He was happy! At least he wants to be. But a stranger in a laptop is going to show him why he should be thinking about the outside, and why he should consider getting ready to leave the walls.All Rights Reserved
