In the episode, I always wondered, why is Waitington with someone like Whisper? I mean... the famous warlord is literally best friends with the punching bag in Yo-Kai Watch. It's surprising at first... but then when you think about it, the two go through just as much trauma and struggles. Waitington is lonely because so many people have left his life and he has nobody he can go to, and Whisper is scared of his ability and is also lonely, and has nobody he can go to. I think this fanfic really conveys the similarities and struggles between the two, and again it was one of my first fanfics and some of my thoughts have changed, so feel free to ask away!
