Arie-Anne Sandra has her head on her shoulders. Interning at a top ocean research center, she’s setting out to further her thesis on communication between marine species and make a name for herself as an oceanographer. But when she gets the opportunity to tag along in an excursion, what she doesn’t expect is to find herself sucked into an entirely different world. Suddenly it’s fins instead of legs, magic instead of logic, and a prophecy instead of formulas. When a handsome, guarded Prince is thrown into the mix, Arie-Anne has to step up her game to keep up and prove herself . Getting pulled deeper and deeper into the blue she soon discovers that what secrets lie in the ocean aren't as peaceful as she once thought and that she must fight to keep her heart and her mind from sinking any deeper.

A story similar to a classic fairy tale, but with a major twist ... What if the little mermaid were a deep sea merman instead? And what if the human he fell in love with went to live with him in the sea instead? Though born as a regular human on land, Henrietta always felt as if she were suffocating. She struggled to survive and belong among her kind. On a night when she sought to end her life at sea, she was rescued by Elsen, a merman who had once felt the same as her. Despite coming from different worlds, their shared experiences instantly built a bridge between them. When misfortune struck again, Henrietta lost her home and was driven to the edge once more. Seeing that she had nowhere else to go, Elsen brought her to his home in the deep sea. Although the ocean depths were tranquil and soothing, Henrietta's heart was still plagued with worries. And she soon discovered that Elsen also had yet to defeat his own demons. Will these two broken souls finally heal and come to love not only each other but themselves as well?
