[BOOK ONE OF THE 'CHARLOTTE KHAN' TRILOGY] "Always thought I was hard to love 'Til you made it seem so easy, seem so easy." *** After Charlotte Khan, the eldest sister of Yasmin and Sonya Khan, meets the Doctor at age ten, her life changes completely. She had gained a whole new outlook on the universe thanks to the Doctor. When she's twenty-two, she first encounters the thirteenth Doctor; the Doctor that Charlotte had ungracefully fallen head-over-heels for. After the Ninth Doctor meets Charlotte Khan, his life changes completely. Despite only meeting her a couple of times, he considers her his closest friend. When he, or should I now say "she", is on her thirteenth regeneration, she encounters Charlotte after falling from her TARDIS with absolutely no memory of her precious friend whatsoever. Soon after gaining her memories of Charlotte back and going on multiple adventures with the woman, the Doctor realised after a while, that she had fallen completely in love with her. The only problem is that the two are too hesitant to confess their feelings for each other because of an undying fear of what will happen afterwards. The Doctor's scared of getting too attached because of a curse that has followed her wherever she went: her companions always either leave her or die. Charlotte's scared of getting her heart broken, and she's pretty confident that that will happen if she lets herself get too attached to the Doctor. They both didn't know what was worse: getting their hearts broken or pretending that they felt nothing for each other. *** Started: 9th of January 2020 Finished: TBD [Season 11] [Doctor Who] [Most Impressive Ranking: #4 in doctorwhofanfiction - 11th of March 2020] [#45 in doctorwho - 31st of January 2021] [1st in thirteenthdoctor - 19th of June 2021]
