Jocks, Cheerleaders, Goths, Nerds. These were just a few names we use to group certain people in High School. Who knew you could actually.. call it a 'Hierarchy'? Once in a while, she would be insulted by the ones who seemed to think they were in the upper class. Who knew, this innocent discrimination, or maybe not, might be a huge obstacle in her love life? This is a story of a nerd. Or one who calls herself a nerd. This is a story of Elizabeth Watson. Note: Title Change from 'Etched'.

If you were gonna tell me that I talked back to the principal infront of the whole school, I would have scoffed. If you were gonna tell me that I had to raise $50, 000 with 7 of the most unusual people at school, I would have laughed. If you were going to tell that by the end I would be friends with them and find love...I would say... "Well this is going to be One Awkward Year." * . * . * Claire Silva, a seventeen year old girl who doesn't like attention at school to avoid unnecessary drama. When she makes a big mistake at a school assembly, things are about to get awkward for her.
