My name's Rozelyn. I'm 17 years old, living in Los Angeles. I'm not the average teenage girl, yes I do play on the Boys Volleyball Team. Weird I know. You are probably wondering, "Why isn't she on a girl's team?", well we do not have one. Apparently, the girls in our school don't play volleyball anymore. None of them wanted to play or try out ever since 3 years ago when they lost to a score of 2-25... and the fact that over 4 girls got injured from getting spiked in the face by one of the hardest teams in the district. (Kind of dumb and funny if you ask me.) Okay, going back, I tried out for the boy's team my Freshman year and I never thought I could be able to make it into the team since I'm a girl, heck, who even thought I could be the CAPTAIN of the Boys Varsity Volleyball Team my Senior year! But besides all that, my life is quite difficult. I've had to make decisions that I did not want to make. I had to go through things no person should have gone through. My life ain't so sunshine and rainbows. There is a tint of showers and lightning. No one seemed to notice though. Until it all started with him in detention.

Who knew running away from girls would be so difficult ? It's almost impossible when you're in a school mostly made up of girls . "I'm not making friends with any girl at all or even talk to them . I don't want to risk falling in love again" . I could feel my heart trying to tell me something that I did not understand . My heart was saying something and whatever it was saying was going to change something in my life . Something special about this new friend and I have no idea what.
